Photos from Castleside Primary School's post Class 4 have been on tour recently: all the way to Class 1. We have had the BEST time! We have been Going on a Bear Hunt; we have been to the zoo with Willy and Hugh, and we have had SIx DInners with Sid. After that, Class 1 gave us a guided tour of their 'crib' and all the cool things they have in there. We were dressed up as some dubious looking princesses and police with questionable uniforms as well as becoming slightly soggy in the water area. Outside, we dodged balance bikes and trikes, looked for trolls under the bridge and were chased by monsters. We were absolutely shattered at the end of it and the dulcet tones of Mrs Lightley were welcomed with open arms for once! 10 Likes

Photos from Castleside Primary School's post Friday was indeed 'fabulous', French tuition for Class 3 and 4 with Consett Academy students and a visit from the Fire Brigade, with a special treat for Class 1 using the hoses to spray water. Castleside Primary School

Our village Hall has been busy over the last few weeks and the Park 'Drovers Dell' is finished! The official opening is on Saturday 22nd March at 11am. They are having an open day from 11am-2pm to show the community what the Hall is all about, and that becoming a volunteer is both rewarding and valuable to our community.
And... not to miss a village event, we will be there too! Come along and say hello....we'll have some goodies and colouring activities to keep little ones entertained! 6 Likes
